Milkaut is located in South America, at a strategic point on the bi-oceanic lane connecting the Pacific Ocean with the Atlantic. This location gives Milkaut a key advantage point for the commercial link with the Mercosur.
Within Argentina, an outstanding dairy country, Milkaut is established in the most important milkshed, located in the central region of the province of Santa Fe. In Franck, district of Las Colonias, Milkaut established its headquarters and its principal industrial complex.

Milkshed
The dairy farms that send their production to Milkaut are distributed in three Argentine provinces: Santa Fe, Cordoba and San Luis. The greater concentration occurs in the first province, specifically in the Las Colonias district and the North zone of the La Capital district. Two important areas of milk production within this same province are those that denominate Cuenca Carlos Pellegrini (San Martín district) and Cuenca Reconquísta (General Obligado district).
The city of Vicuña Mackenna is the center of the called Cuenca Sur of the province of Cordoba, whereas in the province of San Luis the production is near the capital city.
The perfect combination of the climate with the fertility of the ground of these zones makes possible that the milk cattle is bred in an ideal environment. The roundup is fed with cultivated pastures, appropriate condition for a milk production of high hygienic quality.
